OTP English Lesson - Richard - Second Conditional Worksheet Feedback III

"In this video, our OTP trainee Richard gives feedback after his students complete a worksheet on the second conditional. ITTT's Observed Teaching Practice courses (OTP) are ideal for teachers wanting to improve their teaching skills remotely from anywhere in the world."

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In this unit I learned a great deal about different approaches to learning a language, approaches which I was not familiar with. I also learned in more detail what the ESA method is and how lessons using this method can be organized. Finally, I learned about different exercises that can be used in this method, and what the benefits of each are, within the ESA goals. This unit discusses the basic skills of language both receptive and productive. What I learned in this chapter is that there is no one skill that is most important. No one skill can be improved upon so much that the others can be neglected. For the most part, this chapter spoke about the how we listen and read, as well as common problems while listening and reading.
