Where do schools provide free housing for English teachers abroad
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit has taught me the specifics of the English language to better help my students to understand it themselves. They may not need to know the English Language in depth until they are quite advanced, but knowing the different parts of speech will help me to identify what my student is struggling with and to help them understand how to arrange a sentence correctly. This is the part of teaching that I dread the most as I am a horrible speller. It would've been nice to have a bit more information on how to actually tackle the difficulty that is spelling in English but it was also comforting to see that it is a common struggle for teachers to convey. This section did help me become more confident in teaching speaking skills however.
