Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
I have learnt the reasons for reading and listening skill: for purpose and for entertainment. The way people proceed with information of reading and listening skills are by various ways: e.g predictive, skimming, scanning.. etc. These were new knowledge for me personally. The contents in this unit was explained very clearly and I believe to have understood every part of it.This unit has given me a more comprehensive knowledge of essential and not essential relative phrases. Being able to tell the two apart will help me not just as a teacher but as a writer in general. Passive voice is a topic I have had difficulty with in the past because I have been told to write only in active voice. The grammar in this unit will greatly improve my writing.
