Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This final unit was an extensive list of resources for the future teacher. It gives advice on resume building, interviewing and job searches in general. The advice given on how to avoid social gaffs with future employers and clients is a welcome addition as well. Even the instruction on cv/resume writing is handy for anyone looking for work, not just language teachers.Lesson planning is very important for an unexperienced teacher at the beginning of his career. The unit is very detailed , it includes why is the plan important , what should be written in a plan. We were given an example of a plan ( the lesson with the topic \"animal\"). And the unit also includes a very interesting plan \"Present Perfect Tence\"
