TEFL TESOL Combined Courses

ITTT's combined TEFL/TESOL course offers trainees the main benefits of both our 120 hour online course and the in-class course. The online component covers the grammar as well as the principals, theories and methodologies of teaching English. Once the online component is completed you can then gain actual classroom experience by attending one of our training centers for seven to ten days. Here you will have the opportunity to teach local students in a supervised environment. All teaching practice sessions are observed by qualified trainers. Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

I enjoyed reading about all the different teaching techniques for the various stages of a language lesson. I remember studying these techniques during my Undergraduate Degree and being able to adapt some of the techniques for music instruction - usually attempting to integrate what was being learned in their language classes to what was being learned in their music classes. In this unit, the text covered lesson-planning strategies, offering clear examples of how I as a teacher can use ESA-style lessons with my English-language learners. In particular, this section clarified what sort of activities go with which section by way of example. I took away from this section the sort of topics that I could use from this section in my own lesson plans.
