TEFL TESOL Combined Courses

ITTT's combined TEFL/TESOL course offers trainees the main benefits of both our 120 hour online course and the in-class course. The online component covers the grammar as well as the principals, theories and methodologies of teaching English. Once the online component is completed you can then gain actual classroom experience by attending one of our training centers for seven to ten days. Here you will have the opportunity to teach local students in a supervised environment. All teaching practice sessions are observed by qualified trainers.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This Unit explored zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. I learnt the forms of these conditionals and their usages. I also learnt typical mistakes made by students, and thought about how I might consider teaching conditionals to avoid these mistakes. I also learnt a few teaching ideas in relation to conditionals, and also about how verb tenses change with reported speech. This unit presented an overview of the four past tense verb forms. I learned the usages for past simple, past present, past continuous, and past perfect continuous along with activities to help students practice these, and common mistakes made when dealing with past tense verbs. I learned the differences between the verb tenses and correct conjugations for regular and irregular verbs.
