TEFL-TESOL Online Courses; how do they work?

Once you have paid for the TEFL/TESOL online course you will receive the course log in details. Once logged in you will receive your first email with the course details and course units. Each course unit needs to be worked through in turn and the relevant tasks completed. Trainers will then mark the assessment tasks online. Course units are worked through in order. Upon completion of the course trainees will be sent their certificate within five working days. Go to the link above to learn more about the workings of our TEFL/TESOL online courses.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit contained some good suggestions for how to deal with potential problems. The tips for dealing with reluctant learners and those who continue to rely on their native language in class were particularly good. My experience teaching in public schools means I have quite a bit of experience dealing with the issue of large classes, so this part was less useful for me.In this unit, I learned a lot about how to teach both new vocabulary and new grammatical structures. There were two really useful parts to this unit. I really appreciated how it gave different examples of appropriate activities for engage, activate and study sections. I also appreciated the presentation of different lesson structures, such as boomerang and straight arrow.
