Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
I liked how there are many resources provided for the teacher for each specific activity. I learned about the different themes a teacher can use in a lesson. I learned about how chants, songs and music can be used in a classroom for different age groups. I learned the importance of games in a classroom and how could they be incorporated depending on the goals of the lesson.Testing or rather evaluation of progress, is an important part of learning, anything. In this lesson I learnt in a bit more detail, the different assessment tools teachers can use to assess and test students' language abilities for different purposes. I was also exposed to the different internationally reconised tests offered, to whom they are targeted and their objectives.
