Where are the best places to teach English abroad?
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
I did not do so well in my last unit which was the past tense and I had predicted that I had understood it better then present tense which was not the case. By reading the usage and structures of the sentences of the various tenses more carefully i can now grasp a better understanding of this specific tense as well as the other two. hopefully my results highlight this. This unit provided an overview of past verb tenses. The important thing to remember is not to assume that this portion of the English language may not be as simple for students as it is for native speakers. Again, it is extremely important to be able to explain why an error is being made, instead of assuming it is correct because it sounds natural to a native speaker.
