Diploma Courses

ITTT's advanced level online TESOL Diploma course has been designed for practicing teachers who have already completed a TEFL/TESOL qualification. The course is popular with a wide range of applicants, particularly those who are looking to gain an advantage when applying for higher level teaching positions by increasing their teaching knowledge and qualifications.

The course is based around research via the internet and other resources that will examine and develop your own understanding of a variety of relevant topics. The individual course modules cover many important subjects including the historical development of English language teaching, different approaches to course syllabus design, designing classroom materials, student assessment strategies, and classroom management.

The course comes either with or without the support and guidance of an experienced online tutor. While this decision is completely down to the personal preference of each applicant, we do recommend the tutored option for anyone who is not familiar with independent study. No matter which option you choose, we are confident that you will find the TESOL Diploma course both interesting and stimulating, as well as a valuable addition to your CV/résumé.

You can also complete the 250-hour TESOL Diploma course as part of our 470-hour Professional Package. This package also includes the 120-hour TEFL certification course, the 50-hour course in teaching business English (CTBE), and the 50-hour course in teaching English to young learners (CTEYL). Our Professional Package comes in two versions, one with tutor support and one without tutor support. You can also choose to receive either four individual certificates or one 470-hour certificate covering all the components, once you have completed all four courses.
