Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
After studying this unit, I found the change of verb tenses can be rather difficult and confusion from direct speech to reported speech. It will require some more targeted practice and maybe in this case, some role-play will be helpful. But this unit did in a way helped me reorganized my understanding of the rules for reported speech and made it much more clear than before. This unit covered the various roles of the teacher and multiple methods of teaching. Along with what to expect from the students when teaching business English. The students are more likely to be adults with a greater attention span and more motivation than kids. This unit also covered the advantages and disadvantages of one on one teaching for both the student and teacher.
