Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit went over a variety of multimedia teaching aids that can be used in a classroom. It not only listed the types that can be used but also described how they can be used and pros and cons to each type of aid. The most useful part of the unit was the end when it listed a variety of online resources that can be used for teachers or students in future lessons. In this unit,i have learnt the relationship between teachers and students. As a teacher i should not dominate the class but rather involve the students as much as i can and where necessary. To be a good teacher i must give the students learning my first priority. Motivating the students is also a great way of making them learn faster and interested in the subject.
