This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
There are so many things I've learned from this course. First, it made me realize that I do not have a full grasp on grammar. It has been so long since I had grammar lessons but this time, I'm re-learning it again and gained a better understanding of it as a whole, how everything is related to one another. This understanding gives me the confidence and a better perspective as a teacher ---- what strategies are available for me to use and address the needs of my students.
This course has also made me look closer into how I teach ----- the lessons, activities and the students. It made me question myself if I was doing my best to help my students learn. I have actually tried doing the ESA with my classes. It has made my classes more interesting and fruitful.
I gained much from the strategies I learned from this course. I have been introducing a lot of these in my classes lately.
