TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Sabrina

Sabrina took the 120-hour online TEFL course with tutor support and videos. In this TEFL review video, Sabrina tells us how she found the videos to be a very useful part of the course as she considers herself to be a visual learner and the videos made it easier for her to absorb the necessary information. Now she has completed the course, Sabrina plans to volunteer at a local ESL school to gain practical experience.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In unit 16 the conditionals and reported speech were introduced. The unit talked about the four conditionals: zero, first, second, third and mixed, and how to use them in a sentence. It also discussed how to switch from a direct quote to a reported quote and how the tenses will change. This was a great refresher course on principles I had learned in school, but have forgotten about. This unit explained part of one of the trickier parts of teaching English: the present tense. Crafting sentences to be grammatically correct is difficult for even native speakers, so I found that one of the most useful aspects of the unit was the way it breaks down not just the present tense, but all the tenses, into four parts: simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous.
