This lesson has taught me the importance of the receptive skills and how to teach them with the most efficiency. A student must be motivated and well equipped to understand a text and/or dialogue. This task is for the teacher to take on, and if I can do so successfully, I will inspire the enthusiasm and motivation of my students which will ensure correct and adequate understanding. This part of the lesson was very intriguing. It was really interesting to me to see the different needs of students based on what group they are in. It was really cool to see that students are not just young but also can be professional business students who will be using it in their work. It was really interesting to see how we can tailor what we learn to students across the ages.
