In this unit I learned extensively about the various forms of the present tense and in what circumstances to use them. I expanded my own knowledge of each category and learned the suitable ways in which to teach them to others. I personally struggled with this unit because it was more complicated than I first expected it to be, but it has been a good learning experience. The unit's topic of course books and other lesson materials for use in classrooms. I do find it hard to wrap my head around the idea of having to create my own materials still as I am more use to a more rigid system in a classroom and I am expecting to find one in Japan. I will likely end up leaning more heavily on other more experienced teachers and authentic materials.
