Chaabane from Tunisia has recently completed the 120-hour online TEFL course with tutor support and videos from ITTT. Initially Chaabane was a bit nervous about completing the course but soon found out that the course was enjoyable to take. He was impressed by the course materials which he found to be comprehensive. Chaabane would recommend ITTT’s online TEFL courses to anyone considering a career in teaching English.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit gives a very detailed description of pronunciation and phonology, which proved to be very helpful as I learned new things. I know I have learned this awhile ago, but looking at it in more detail allowed me to understand it even more. It is important to note the different ways to teach these subjects, and understanding it myself will benefit the students as well.Very glad that this unit is the last one about grammar. This unit wasn't easy as I had presumed dealing with auxiliary verbs and the passive voice. Still it's not very clear when to use modal verbs, which changes the formality and context of the main verb. In regards to the passive voice (active & passive) it's quite confusing and I've yet to teach in actual live classes.
