EFL Sample Lesson - Study Phase - Questions with Modals

This video is a sample EFL lesson in a real-life classroom setting abroad. In order to have a successful activate phase of the lesson, the teacher gives clear instructions to all students. Then, the activate activity starts and the students go around the classroom to "find someone who" fulfills various statements on their worksheet.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit was about the use of course materials. Preparing course materials and using pre-made ones have their upsides and downsides. Preparing materials allows the teacher to create it to the level of the students and suite it to their interests. Pre-made materials can be easier for the teacher to use and can create an order of units for the teacher to follow. This unit shows me how to structure or develop a course syllabus by analyzing the needs of the students , the requirement by the company , the fields the students are working in , students previous learning experiences, and there capability's. the way we could do this is have them do a English proficency test, and find out there level of knowledge and end weeknes.
