Evaluation and Testing of Students - General English Exams

This video is part of our video series on "Evaluation and Testing of Students". In this video, we look at some of the most common general English exams students of English take around the world. EFL teachers often hold classes to prepare the students for these international proficiency exams.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This course is very much an add-on to the main TESOL/TEFL course. This unit gave an overview of how the course works, and what the content of the subsequent units will be. It also gave a bit of a preview of the final unit which discusses career options once this course is complete. It also gave a break down of the different acronyms that one might encounter teaching English. This lesson explains the different functions of teaching and learning...ideas on how to teach effectively for different levels, the pro's and con's of 'one on one' teaching, different methodologies of teaching, production and receptive skills and then the pro's of the ESA method of teaching. Also more explanation for how one can do the boomerang or patchwork ESA lesson plan.
