English Grammar - Future Simple - Structure - TESOL Online
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This last chapter was very short and cover a variety of problems a teacher might have. It covered problems with first lessons and building rapport, large class sizes, use of native language, and other similar and common issues encountered when teaching. I wish it included what to do about existing hostilities among the students which is more common among younger students. This unit introduces the use of materials in a lesson, covering the difference between authentic and non-authentic materials as well as how to effectively use various materials and sources during a class. In addition, the unit discusses how to properly write and use a lesson plan to guide a course. Finally, it provides a brief list of online resources for future referral.
