I believe I have gained a lot from this course. Prior to beginning this certification course, I really didnt know much about teaching methodology. I think one of the most significant lessons I learned was about lesson planning, including the ESA method. I initially struggled with this aspect but have slowly made progress and am beginning to feel increasingly confident in my ability to plan a lesson before meeting with a class. Through the material in this course, I believe I will be well-prepared to plan a lesson, carry out teaching methods such as monitoring and correcting, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Importantly, I will have to make a conscious effort to utilize teaching evaluations from other staff and co-workers so that I can continuously hone my abilities and expand my knowledge and creativity in teaching EFL.
