Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit discusses the pros and cons of using a course book, authentic material, and created material. It seems this chapter is just loosely covering the topics because I'm guessing this will be specific to the curriculum and requirements of where we teach. The details of what to look for in choosing a course book was interesting but highly unlikely relevant as a new teacher.I find this unit very important because its has given me a wider view of teaching English to the business world and especially adults.I have gotten the opportunity to see the different merits and demerits for teaching to both one to one and a group and also ways which i can handle some difficulties. Also going through the different methodology for teaching this was really useful.
