TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - TEFL Video Journal - Week 4

In this TEFL/TESOL review trainees Emma and Angelo talk about their experiences with ITTT's in-class course in Phuket, Thailand. They outline the challenging but fun program of the fourth week of the course. They also talk about some of the assessment components of the course and the certificates that are awarded at the conclusion of the course.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit examines modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice in detail, as well as a brief overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses. I learned what the difference between passive and active voice is. I've never truly learned how to distinguish them or what passive formation to use with the different tenses, but reading examples and ways to teach really gave me some insight!I really enjoyed this lesson. I think that looking at selecting materials is very important. I loved the way that it put emphasis on using a good book but also not using all lessons to be based totally on this concept. I am really grateful for the ideas on how to create some materials for students to help them participate. This is a wonderful unit with some really refreshing ideas.
