This until went over modal auxiliary verbs, their different uses and examples in different sentences. It also went over speaking in an active and passive voice. In this unit, the main thing I learned was phrasal verbs and the 3 different types. I thought it was a very difficult concept to grasp at first, but after studying the unit I am now able to identify each type.Good chapter for looking into the relevance of textbooks and how they fit into the overall structure of a course. While I personally think that having a textbook is certainly a good idea, it would help if the teacher did not rely on it too heavily so that the class could be specifically catered to the skill level that is present, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
