In this TEFL review, Roksana from Poland tells us about her experience taking the 120-hour TEFL course as well as the business English course. She decided to take the courses with ITTT after a recommendation from her friends. She found both courses to be very clear with plenty of materials and examples.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
In this unit I learned all about the present tense. It has four forms, as do the other English tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, present perfect continuous. For each tense, I learned the way it is constructed, its official usages (some have quite a few), some common errors, and some ideas for teaching the Activate phase of the ESA teaching method.Unit 15 focused on the subject matter of the tests and how to assess students. I learned that tests can be divided into several groups depending on the purpose of the tests, for example, placement tests are used to divide learners by their language level and assign them to the appropriate classes. I also expanded my knowledge of external examinations such as TOEFL or TOEIC.
