In this unit, I learned how tests can be used for different purposes. Tests not only measure the level in which students should be placed, but also can be used to check students? progress throughout the class. This unit also had information about the various types of standardized tests, so I was able to see some key differences especially in regards to the purpose of each test.In this unit I learned what the different modal verbs are used for. I have also learned the difference between the active voice and the passive voice. I learned about phrasal verbs and how to identify the different phases. This unit was much needed to tie up all the loose ends. I will definitely be able to teach my class about Modals, Phrasal Verbs and Passive Voice with confidence.
