Olga form Russia took the 120-hour online course with ITTT and is now teaching English in China. In this TEFL review video Olga gives us brief look at one of her classes. The students are studying animal vocabulary and are obviously enjoying themselves.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
I enjoyed this unit as much as Unit 11 about receptive skills. I always find myself wanting to correct the handwriting and focus on it more than we do. Sometimes u looks like a, or t looks like f. It would be beneficial to take a little more time to practice on writing. What is surprise is that some people even have big problems with only copying things down correctly.By reading and reviewing the material contained in this unit I gained new insight on techniques of teaching English as a second language and how lessons are structured. In reviewing the material on lesson structure I also took time to pause to think of how these same principles may have been applied to classes for foreign languages I attended as a student in the past.
