He decided to take the course so that he could teach English in Northern Thailand. Mark had a very positive experience taking the 120-hour course and is now taking a specialised course in teaching English to young learners.

In this Unit, the roles and functions of grammar, language and vocabulary were discussed. The unit also introduced the importance of the grammar, language and vocabulary to an English learner. In addition, the
Straight Arrow, Boomerang and the Patchwork lesson styles were reintroduced throughout the Unit. Vocabulary selection and techniques were also highlighted throughout the Unit.By covering this unit I learned about direct speech as well as conditionals. These are not very well known by the common English speaker and it was good to gain a further knowledge of these topics. I learned about the different sentence structures that zero-mixed conditionals consist of and how to apply them as well as the changes from regular to reported speech based on the tenses.
