I enjoyed how this unit covered the materials utilized in teaching English. One of my favorite parts of studying Arabic is studying interacting with authentic material, but it becomes frustrating quickly because the materials are often above my fluency level. This unit helped explain to me the tradeoffs of authentic and created materials and the advantages of using a course book.After reading Unit 4 I understood how important it is to have a sound knowledge of all tenses in English, to make difference between their forms and usage. Also I found out how to predict and correct students' errors as well as how to formulate strategies and examples before starting the lesson. Unit 4 helped me to understand how to explain Present Tenses in a more efficient way.
