TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Juan Carlos
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
Lesson planning is not a rigid plan to go directly off of. It does provide guidance on lessons you may not have taught before. These plans are perfect for helping you stay on track as a teacher and continue to grow as it sets goals for teachers and students. I really enjoyed this unit as I often do not plan lessons and this will help me stay better organized in class. The ESA model learning structure is very important when it comes to introducing vocabulary, grammatical structures and language functions, and that was stressed in this unit. Typically, a Straight Arrow approach can be used for teaching vocabulary, but Boomerang and Patchwork ESA structures work better for teaching grammatical structures and functions of the language.
