Jenny from California took the in-class TEFL course in Prague. In this TEFL review video Jenny talks about the things she learned and how they will benefit her teaching. As well as offering in-class TEFL courses at numerous centers around the world, ITTT also offers a range of online courses to suit different schedules and budgets.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
The unit explains the four past tenses (Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous). I’ve repeated the construction and use principles of these tenses, learnt and analyzed typical errors made by students when using these present tenses. And I hope that the activate stage teaching ideas will be helpful when used during real teaching process. This unit explains the role of both the teacher and the student of English. I have learned much about the psychology of the classroom, student-teacher interaction mechanisms, techniques to teach effectively and have gained understanding about issues which are critical to students regarding their learning experience. I feel I'm more knowledgeable about the teaching process.
