Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This one was the hardest unite among all. I couldn't understand everything so I am going to review again. Being non-native speaker will make it hard to teach English as I was not taught IPA in school. This unite has helped me to be more careful about my pronunciation and accent as I am supposed to imitate native speakers if I am going to teach English in the future....This is a short lesson with ESA framework focusing on teaching vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions. I like the comparisons of grammar to the tree trunks, vocabulary and functions to the leaves that add beauty and variety. Activate phase mostly use debates , discussions, role-play, story building, and material production class.
