Avoid making difficulty judgements about the content. If a student finds something difficult, calling it easy could be extremely off-putting. If students do not understand something, try phrasing it differently. Never reprimand a student for being incorrect. Enthusiasm and miming go a long way. Use body language, sign language, and pictures. Positive reinforcement matters.Should we plan lessons or not is a controversial question according to many different schools of thought. Some researchers believe that lesson planning makes a very fixed teacher-centered lessons. On the other hand, for inexperienced teacher it is difficult to conduct the class without any plan. At the same time planning helps to make all stages of the lesson logically relevant.
