This unit was really easy for me to understand. There are 4 different types of past tense, past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. This unit was more simple than the present tense unit. I like how the reader was given the formula for the different tenses. It allowed me to see how the sentences should be structured and what the verbs should end with.This unit was definitely a unit I had to take my time with, especially since the phonetic script does take a while to decipher and to pronounce each word trying to think of how each funky spelled words sounds like the correct English form. The last task, plus the several phonetic script questions on the quiz is quite useful in learning to enunciate each word and was great practice.
