Unit 13 focused on the pronunciation of words and methods we can use to teach our students how to properly form words in the English language. the unit also covered when to add stress to certain parts of a word i enjoyed how the unit went into the science of pronunciation, letting teachers know how the mouth works to form words can be beneficial to instructing our students.This unit was on how to teach pronunciation. First we discussed phonology witch is the analysis of the physical properties of sounds. Included with this is the stress, rhythm, and intonation of words in a sentence. We discussed the basic rules behind intonation, but as the progress grows with the student, they can also naturally tend to decipher how to stress certain words.
