Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In Unit 2 I've knownn how different parts of speech are named, about their meaning and place in the sentence. In English there are followinig parts of speech: a noun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjuction, gerund, article. All of them can be classifeid into certain groups. Some of them also have forms depending on the position in the sentence and the meaning. This unit has opened my eyes to what is expected of me as a teacher and also what to expect from learners. I am aware of the huge impact that the teacher has in making sure that learning takes place in the classroom. I have also learned that, learning is a two way process that both the teacher and the learner should actively take part in order to ensure overall success.
