TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - AMY GOSEWISCH

In this TEFL review student Amy describes her experience during her TEFL/TESOL course in Seville, Spain. She talks about the course location and the accommodation and the friendly and helpful staff. Amy, like many trainees, was fortunate enough to be offered a teaching position while doing the course. ITTT's courses are designed to give you the skills and confidence you need to teach English as a foreign language. We welcome all applications from native speakers as well as fluent non-native English speakers, regardless of nationality, age, gender or race.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit is about the different past tenses. The unit describes past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. When using these different tenses it is important to consider whether the verb has a regular or irregular form. Furthermore, these tenses are all dependent on the time that has passed in regards to the action performed by the subject. This unit covered modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. These are parts of grammar that seem to be relatively easy to understand, but can be difficult to teach and fully comprehend because of the nuances in the English language; for example, the differences between: could, should, and would. I personally think this will be one of the more complicated units to teach.
