TESOL review from Karyna

This TEFL review is from Karyna who is currently teaching abroad. She is from the Ukraine and recently took our 120-hour online TEFL/TESOL course as she is a young teacher and wanted to gain a new qualification for your professional development. She enjoyed the course a lot and was able to use the new skills in her classroom abroad while taking the course. This way, she saw quick improvements in her teaching skills and, thus, recommend this course to all new teachers out there.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

I find these lessons the most challenging and difficult. As I said before the English language comes naturally to me. But having all these rules is a challenge. And the more I think the more I get confused. I dont remember any of my high school English classes ever taught this. But its been awhile so my memory might be foggy. Dont know what else to say. I hope this is 50 words.I think this unit is simple to learn and understand. I had no difficulty in learning the terms and it is useful in explaining English sentence structures to learners. To English speakers, I think it is important to be able to explain the grammar to learners instead of just responding 'this is how it is or works'. I like the content of this unit as it is concise yet instructive.
