TEFL Review from Rodney

This TEFL review is from Rodney. He is originally from Jamaica but currently living and working in Japan. He recently completed our 120-hour TEFL/TESOL course online and had a great experience. He realized the importance of an internationally recognized TEFL/TESOL certification and decided to go for it. After completing the course, he received a range of new opportunities, especially in teaching English online. He cannot recommend this course enough to anyone who is interested in teaching English.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

I have been studying education at a university level so I was quite familiar with the content of this unit but I think it was good to review the basics. I already have some teaching experience and the different roles of teacher made me think back to my language lessons and what kind of roles I've had during my lessons and which roles have been the most dominant ones.I have learned to identify the distinct stages of a teachers role and the different stages of a learners progress. They are both particularly useful as I currently teach English to a wide range of abilities ranging from beginner to advanced. Knowing how to compartmentalize my role will allow me to recognize when i should adopt that particular role when i am teaching.
