Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit is the introductory unit and covered what to expect for the 6 units. It went into further detail about what is in each individual unit. There were plenty of acronyms describing terms that are used in the teaching English industry. There were several options of where the workplace might be such as: on-site at a company, private tutoring, and an English center. In this unit I learned about past tenses. These tenses include past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. These past tenses take on different forms and have various usages. Some of the forms are adding -ed, -d, -ing, had, been, was, and were. The unit also included different games to play or teaching methods to use to teach the past tenses.
