letting the students their current ranking in the class is not a typical reason for teachers to evaluate their students. placement test is used to grade student's language levels prior to commencing an EFL course. progress test is given regularly to help the teacher see what information students have retained. practice test is usually used to prepare students for an external exam.This unit was clear and concise, however, some of the phrases and terminologies used flip/flop resulting to check back at some of the sections to re-verify the information. I felt that this lesson demonstrated the difference between teachers and students, or their roles in the classroom. It also said how teachers can control the classroom to help students of all learning levels.
