This unit taught me how to identify and teach special groups, like beginners, individual, children, adults, business, and multilingual. I learned the advantages and disadvantages of teaching these different groups, and suitable activities for these groups. I have also learned that I do not have to be a professional in a students business to teach them business English.This chapter describes the past tenses and how they are used in the English language. They are the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous tenses. While the present tense presents its own problems to students, the past tense has a large amount of irregular verbs. This chapter suggests using card games to learn these difficult verb forms.
