OTP Demonstration Lesson - Richard - Study Phase - Second Conditional Usages

"In this video, our OTP trainee Richard holds his demonstration lesson about the second conditional. In his study phase, he asks students: If you won the lottery, what would you do? ITTT's Observed Teaching Practice courses (OTP) are ideal for teachers wanting to improve their teaching skills remotely from anywhere in the world."

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In this unit I learned how to adapt board games to a classroom according on the age and English level of the students. I have learned how to make a lesson plan adapted for younger students. I'm not sure at 100% how to use the practice phase 1 and 2... I familiarized myself with different websites that can be very helpful when researching worksheets and activities. The unit has been very helpful with arranging the fundamental knowledge of teaching/learning proccess in order, explaining basic characteristics and tasks of both teachers and students. I found the information of language level grading very useful and can now consider different approaches to each group, ways of resolving the problems of motivation, nervousness etc.
