OTP English Lesson - Richard - Activate Phase - Worksheet Discussion VI

"In this video, our OTP trainee Richard checks the understanding of his students by having a classroom discussion with his students using modal verbs. ITTT's Observed Teaching Practice courses (OTP) are ideal for teachers wanting to improve their teaching skills remotely from anywhere in the world."

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit explains the four present tense; the present simple, present continuous ( present progressive), present perfect and present perfect continuous. The forms were clearly explained but I learned more from the usages with example sentences. The list of verbs that have irregular past participles was useful. Highlighting typical student mistakes and errors was beneficial .This unit is very well put together and I think it will be very useful for me in teaching. Normally all of this information is spread through out the grammar books, and tends to be quite confusing. Presented in this clear way makes it easier for me as a teacher to respond to any possible questions my students might have in regards to future tenses, grammar structures and uses.
