Conditionals and Reported Speech - The Third Conditional
The third conditional is used when speaking about regrets and excuses. This video is specifically aimed at teaching the third conditional in an ESL setting.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
Future tenses are the most complex areas of the language. Present simple and present continuous can be used with future meaning, and this subject can confuse students quite easily. Also, going to future and present continuous can be very challenging. However, the teacher ability to help students understand each one's usage will help clarify all other verb tenses. There's some repetition in this unit, the different methods of teaching were already introduced to us. So I feel like there's no reason for them to be repeated again and typical grammar and vocab lessons, that I have studied earlier in this course. All the ESA stuff was already introduced. The breaking down of the unit was good in this one and easy to understand.
