This unit summarizes some of the basic problems we will see as ESL teachers. This includes mixed and new groups as well as differing levels of english ability. I learned the importance of establishing rapport with the students before getting into language instruction. This is a chance to get to know students and alleviate the anxiety that some will feel in class. This unit gave me a better outlook on teaching absolute beginner students of English.
