Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit was a good practical example of what has been learned before. I found it useful that we were provided with two different classes: one showing which errors should be avoided and the other one demonstrating how one could conduct an effective class for the beginners. I would suggest that more videos showing different ESA learning methodology should be added.Unit 15 goes over the types of evaluations schools use. The are implemented to place students in an appropriate class, see what they have retained, and to practice for external examinations. It was great to have an understanding of why a specific test is important. Like if an external examination is used in college admissions, or if it is used in a work environment.
