Evaluation and Testing of Students - General English Exams

This video is part of our video series on "Evaluation and Testing of Students". In this video, we look at some of the most common general English exams students of English take around the world. EFL teachers often hold classes to prepare the students for these international proficiency exams.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

at this unit I`ve refreshed my knowledge about conditionals and reported speech that always happens to be a difficult topic. Important thing in unit was mentioning that tomorrow, yesterday and other time expression words should be changed according to the situation to make sense. I`ve noted some good teaching ideas that can be used in the future teaching practice. This looked like a low profile Unit compared to those strictly related to grammar or structure, but it is only because it all makes more sense than grammar itself (!) so it is a pleasure to read and to put myself on the side of the teacher. I know that these kind of lesson will be what will make the foundation of my own lessons when it'll come the time. So thanks.
