English Grammar -- Present Tenses --Overview -- Pay for English Teachers
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
I have learned about the five different levels of English: Starter, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, and Upper-Intermediate.
When designing a syllabus there may be some limiting factors: your employee, materials available, time constraints, and students.
There are different types of tests: Diagnostic, Proficiency, Aptitude, Achievement, Progress, and Placement. This part of the unit really supplemented the rest of the chapter really well. I liked how we learned about listening and reading the previous chapter and now we are learning about writing and speaking. I like the parts at the end of the lesson when we have to order the materials and split them up by the different stages. It really helps me visualize the different stages.
