Coursebooks and materials - Resource Books Part 1


This video is part of our series on 'Coursebooks and Materials for EFL Teachers'. In this video, we take a look at the types and use of resource books in the EFL classroom. Typically a resource book pack comes with three individual books including a student book, a workbook and a teacher's resource book.

There are different ways of evaluating students' levels and progress: Tutorials, evaluation of students ans tests. There are many kinds of tests such as placement test, diagnostic test, progress test, practice test and general external exam. They are used at different stages in a course. From this unit, I know about evaluating students that I didn't know before.In this lesson we learned about lesson planning. Important parts of lesson planning are an aid to planning, a working document and a record. We learned about how we should write down lesson plan, how to be organized and what should be included in lesson plan. Then we learned about exactly how lesson plan should look like and prepare to create our own lesson plans.
