This Unit helped me to clearly understand the differences between American and British testing system. I also got the basic idea of how the placement test should be conducted. Tests are not for punishment of the students but to make their studying controlled and organised. I also give progress tests to my students periodically and somehow it keeps them motivated and they are even waiting for them to see their progress. Also, after reading about the differences in the external tests it will be easier for me to suggest the most suitable one for my students.
