After completing this unit I realised how important it is to select the topics carefully. They must be interesting, up-to-date and be at the needed level of English, which is not too hard and not too easy. It is very important to keep the students motivated and pre-teach them new vocabulary so they can feel more confident while doing exercises. Also, it is essential to promote understanding and not only check it. Pre-teaching is important, however, it is important not to overdo it. The tasks also have to vary.
